Who We Are

We're a community of believers who exist because people need to find belonging, fulfillment, and relationship with Christ and others. We believe the best way to go through life is to do it while in a life-giving community of other believers.

Where We Come From

Legacy Church began in 2003 under the leadership of Chad & Melinda Waller. After moving back to Washington County with their family, they felt God's heart to start another expression of the local church with an emphasis on open worship and grace-oriented teaching. What grew out of their house church was a rich community of Jesus followers with a heart for their community.

Where We're Going

We believe that God has big plans for our city and the surrounding communities. Our aim is to "do what's ours to do" and foster the work that God is doing here. We do this through intentional discipleship, and embracing the relationships that God has given us while helping others find fulfillment in their purpose.

What This Means For You

This means that you're always welcome at Legacy Church. Wherever you're at in your journey of life, you'll always be accepted. Beyond that, we know that the greatest life-change happens when serving the community with like-minded believers. Because of this, serve teams and an outreach life-style are core values of our community and we encourage everyone that calls Legacy Church their home church to find their fit.
